Aisle 22 photo Although Dallas Transfer handles a very wide variety of products, it operates all of its facility with food grade standards. Computer inventory control and leading edge communications capabilities are a major element in Dallas Transfer's service offering.

Its ServPlus software has been designed to provide exceptionally flexible inventory and billing processes.

  • Product may be tracked by code, lot, serial number or other layered identifier as well as by unique unit (catch) weight.
  • Product may also be tracked as sub-units and billed as units.
  • Groups of product may be 'kitted' for shipment.

All of the above is accomplished with clear concise reporting to provide easy to follow audit trails.

Pulling orders The power of the inventory control system is strongly enhanced by the addition of EDI. Accurate and fast communication of receipt and shipment date using WINS formats is quick and easy to accomplish. Added to this is the ability to provide customers with ASN's (Advance Shipping Notices) and UCC-128 labels. In addition to our own system, Dallas Transfer also operates several terminal arrangements utilizing our customer's hardware and software.

Dallas Transfer utilizes an IWLA endorsed insurance program underwritten by Fireman's Fund. This innovative program provides the most flexibility to deal with all of the complex insurance issues effecting the relations between the warehouse and its customers.
